As we are a modern accommodation with 24-hour check-in, spontaneous bookings are no problem.
If you book a room after 2 p.m. on the day of arrival, you will receive the access code by e-mail directly after booking, so that you can check in quickly and with complete flexibility from 3 p.m. onwards!

Access to the house and the rooms is very simple via a control panel on the door.
Check-in and check-out are done online by e-mail, you can also easily download the invoice yourself the evening before departure and change the billing address if necessary.
You can easily book a room or holiday flat with us by clicking on the "Book now" button. You will then be taken directly to our booking mask. Enter the desired period, persons and your personal data here.
IMPORTANT: As we are reception-free, you will receive your access code to the house and your room by e-mail one day before arrival.
Now select the day of arrival and departure and the desired room. In the overview you can see directly how many people you can stay with in the accommodation.
You are welcome to book a baby cot or extra bed if this is possible in your chosen room.
In the next step, enter your personal data and select a payment method (PayPal, credit card, online bank transfer).
Check your data once again in the summary and complete your booking with the button "Book with costs".
There is no staff on site to take your payment. You can pay with PayPal, credit card or online bank transfer (Giropay/Klarna Sofort).
If you have inadvertently made a wrong booking or are unable to make your reservation, you can cancel it with us up to 14 days before arrival at no charge.
To cancel please send us an e-mail to info@altesamt.de with the following information:
- Name
- Date of arrival
- Room number
- Booking number
- Cancellation reason
Alternatively, you can also use the button "Cancel" on the website under "BOOKING". Here you can then easily enter your booking number and booking code. You send us a cancellation request directly by clicking on the button "Cancel booking".
There is no reception in our house. You can therefore check in independently at any time from 15:00. The guest rooms and the holiday apartment should be left by 11:00 am on the day of departure.

We are an accommodation without reception, which means we have no staff on site.
In our house there are no room keys or room cards, everything is digital.
You will receive the access code for your booked room/holiday flat one day before arrival by e-mail to the contact details you provided in your booking.
On all doors in our building you will find a control panel on the door handle where you can enter your access code. Simply enter the code you received by e-mail. This consists of 6-7 numbers and ends with a hash. After entering the code, the door locks will open and you can enter.

When booking a guest room or the holiday apartment, meals are not included. However, on the ground floor there is the Mensing bakery, where you can enjoy a fresh breakfast every day.
In addition, each guest on the 1st floor has free use of the communal kitchen. There you can also prepare yourself a free filter coffee and enjoy your roll from the Mensing bakery.
Yes, you will find the "Bleeseke Plass" directly at the entrance to the
Altes Amtshaus.
There you will find enough free parking spaces.
Yes, in our house you will find a bicycle cellar. For e-bikes there are also sockets for charging the battery. The stairs to the entrance and also the stairs to the bicycle cellar are each equipped with a guide rail for bicycles.
No, the guest rooms on the 1st floor and the holiday apartment on the 2nd floor are only accessible via a staircase. For the transport of bicycles into the cellar you will find a guide rail at the stairs to the cellar and also in the entrance area at the stairs.
A small tip: Many e-bikes have a sliding function that makes them easier to transport.
The rooms are cleaned in the time from 11:00 to 15:00.
For the sake of the environment, we clean the rooms only upon request, if you hang the appropriate sign outside.
To receive a cleaning, please hang the green sign on the door by 11am.
If the red side hangs outside, we do not disturb.
If you want new towels, just put them on the floor. If you want to use the towels again, please hang them on the hook or on the radiator.
In the apartment the cleaning is done automatically every 7 days.
The following extra services are optionally bookable for an additional charge:
- Daily towel change without cleaning 15,00 € per day
- Daily cleaning with towel change 45,00 € per day
- Towel change every 3 days 5,00 € per day
- Cleaning every 3 days incl. towel change 15,00 € per day
If you do not wish to be disturbed during your stay, you will find a sign on your door handle saying "Please do not disturb". Simply hang this on your door handle so that we know what to do.
The Alte Amtshaus is located in the middle of the district Groß Reken. Adjacent to the house is the "Bleeseke Plass" with many parking possibilities. The Amtshaus is located between the Hauptstraße and the Schulstraße in a traffic-calmed zone - the speed is limited to 20km/h in each case.
Optionally, a travel cot/crib for children up to 3 years of age can be booked in the rooms Maria Veen, Klein Reken, Groß Reken and the holiday apartmentin addition for a one-time surcharge of 15,-€.
When booking the apartment with 5 or 6 persons, there are three different possibilities for the sleeping place for person 5 and 6.
After the booking you will receive an overview PDF with the 3 available variants. Please send us a short feedback by e-mail if you wish version 1, 2 or 3 for your stay. Then we will prepare either the extra beds or the sofa bed for you.
Please understand that no pets are allowed in our house.
Three surveillance cameras have been installed in the staircase and in the corridor of the Old Office Building.
These are located on the ground floor, opposite the staircase to the first floor, and on the first floor directly in the stairwell and in the hotel corridor in front of the rooms.
